The athletes
We spent the weekend in Lake Havasu because Roman was apart of a relay triathlon team! The team consisted of Roman doing a 1 mile swim, Thomas doing a 24 mile bike and Spencer doing a 6.2 mile run! It was so much fun to be there supporting Roman and with Jacey and Tay supporting their hubbys too! The mile swim was along the banks of Lake Havasu so i was able to walk along side of Roman most the time while he was swimming and cheer him on! He did amazing, last time he did this same swim it took him 31 mins and this time it only took him 25 mins, i am so proud of him! It was so great to enjoy the warm weather we had, hang out with friends and family that were there also participating and spend time together! It was super motivating being at the finish line when athletes came across, so motivating that i might train for one! All in all it was a great weekend!

I feel tired just looking at these pics...perhaps that's because I just walked 2 miles today and that sucked the breath right out of me and gave me contractions! ha. But anyway, that is SO impressive. Way to go Roman! Those Madsens (as in Roman+sisters) are just so dang athletic.
