Lucy's birthday party turned out really cute, pics don't do justice :)! There were lots of friends and family that came to celebrate with us and we appreciate it so much! We did a combine party with Nora, it was only fitting since the little nuggets share a birthday! Lucy was pretty much a grump the whole time, apparently she isn't a huge fan of big crowds but it was still fun. We had a cute ice cream bar, sugar cookies, ice cream cone cup cakes and lemonade for dessert!

I can't believe my baby is 1 today, time has flown by so fast and it's so bitter sweet! I am loving each new stage and watching her grown is amazing! She is a little sponge, she soaks up everything and learns so much everyday. She is so much fun, I love interacting with her and getting responses back. She is a busy body and hardly sits still, she definitely has some spunk to her; sometimes good, sometimes not so good. She is taking steps on her own time but not quite walking, I'm sure it won't be to long until she roams everywhere! She is starting to talk she says mom, dad, papa, hi, bye, ball, bath, more, ah-o, and she tries to mimic and say most things i say to her. She is a garbage disposal, she will eat anything and everything all day long, good thing for her it seems she has a fast metabolism. She is a mama's girl and never wants to leave my side, shes my little hip rider! She has a darling personality and i love her facial expressions which she makes all day long! She has been such a blessing in my life, being a mom is one of the best, most fulfilling things in the world. It's definitely tiring and trying at times but i wouldn't change it for anything in this world! I love Lucy more than words can describe and she means everything to me! I LOVE you baby girl, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Christmas in Az this year was a much needed break, it was so nice to spend a couple of weeks away with Roman's family because we don't see them often enough. I also loved the time we were able to spend together because of Roman's schedule last semester it has been crazy, between school and work there isn't much time for other things. We had lots of date nights, thanks to his parents for babysitting so much, it was much needed. We had so much fun and i really cherish and love all the memories we made. It was Lucy's first Christmas which was fun, i love the spirit that kids bring to Christmas. I especially loved that Christmas was on a Sunday this year, it was so nice to be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas because in the hustle and bustle of the day its so often over looked. Our trip was overall a success, we loved seeing all our family and friends there and spending time together.

I can't believe i'm 26, i don't know why but this birthday has made me feel old!! Oh well with age comes wisdom right?! Roman took me to Salt Lake and we went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory and after we did a little shopping, it was the perfect birthday date night, just the two of us. I never realized what "date night" really meant until having a baby, i now fully appreciate our time alone together. My mom watched Lucy so we could go out which was so nice, thanks Mom! While she was babysitting my sis in law Caitlyn took this pic of Lucy and i had to include it because its adorable, i love being a mom especially to this precious little girl. It truly has been such a blessing and learning experience.

I went to St. George with 2 of my sisters and mom last week and it was lots of fun. My mom had a work conference she was going to, so we used the excuse to get out of town and went with. We went swimming, shopped, ate and i visited with some of Roman's family there. It was a typical vaca but whats not to love about that. It was fun to get away and enjoy the warm weather, i love traveling!

We went camping last week with my family and it was lots of fun. Yes, it was cold and raining but it was still a blast. We had tin foiled diner cooked over the fire and yummy dutch oven peach cobbler for dessert. Lucy did great for her first time camping and we can't wait to take her more. There is just something so fun about sitting around a camp fire laughing and joking with each other.

Lucy went on her first airplane ride last week to California and did amazing! She really was so good there and back and i was so relieved, it was much less stress than i expected. Every year we go on a family vacation to the beach with Roman's family and it was so much fun as always. I really couldn't ask for better in-laws, there so much fun!

Last week the girls (meaning my mom, sisters and the kids) went up to our cabin for a week of fun. It was nice to get away for a bit and enjoy ourselves. We shopped in Park city, watch movies, stayed up late, ate way to much, did arts and crafts and laughed lots. Fortunately i brought my camera...unfortunately i only took one pic the whole time so here it is. Oh well, memories are better than pictures at least that's what Roman always says, ha ha ha! After a long 6 month process Miss Mia Kareen has arrived home safely. My brother Kris and his wife Kecia just got back from the Ukraine where they have been for the past 5 weeks finishing up the long process of adopting their new little girl Mia, it was quite the journey for everyone involved and it is great to have her and them home! It was so neat to read, watch, learn and be apart of this journey. Mia is so darling and i can't get enough of her. Everything is new to her and it is amazing watching her discover a whole new world! She is a dainty, polite, girly, loving, happy, beautiful and perfect!

A few cute pics from the last month. I can't believe Lucy is already 4 month old, time goes by so fast now! She is such a doll and we love her so much! My life seems like a blur since she was born, however, i don't even remember what i did before we had her. She is getting so big and chubby and i love it so much. Her acid reflex is kind of under control, she still throws up pretty much all day but it doesn't seem to bug her as much when she does. Although she is a pretty fussy baby and cries most the day i love her more than words can say!! She is my little hip rider, she is literally attached to me non stop!

How cute is my new niece, i think she is darling! My brother and sister in law are in Eastern Europe adopting this girl from an orphanage as we speak. Today was the first time they met her and were able to spend time with her and they loved every minute of it. She is such a doll and i can't wait for her to come home so i can hug, kiss and play with her! This has been an amazing journey and i couldn't be happier for them. They truly live the most selfless, Christ like life. They will be changing this little girls life forever and giving her something she probably could never have imagined. I look up to them tremendously and can't wait for them to come home! We hope and pray that the remaining journey goes smooth and they are able to bring her home soon! Lucy is 3 months old today and i can't even believe how fast time goes by. She is such a doll and i can't get enough of her. 2 Months

I love Lucy so much and i can't believe she is already 2 months old. She has turned into such a good baby and i have so much fun with her. She has been on Prevacid for the past 2 weeks for her acid reflex and it has made the biggest difference, i am so grateful for modern medicine! She is starting to get on a schedule which is so nice, she is sleeping pretty good at night and taking naps in her crib in the day. Its hard to think i might actually be able to get something done or feel organized again but i think its near. I love being home all day with Lucy and being her mom, its so much fun!

Lucy is starting to get bigger and feel more sturdy, she can hold her head up pretty good for the most part. She is getting a little chubby which i love. She still has crazy cute hair that has a mind of its own! She loves to take baths, she is smiling lots and i love it, she likes to rock and she is liking her swing more and more. She likes to watch tv with her dad, watching them together melts my heart, Roman is such a great dad. Oh and did i mention she loves to be held...yes she is a spoiled little girl but thats ok, thats how it should be!

We took Lucy on her first vacation to Arizona last week and she loved it! Roman had the week off from school so we spur of the moment took off and went and it was lots of fun. Lucy has acid reflex which is trying at times and she pretty much cries all day but we made the best of it. She is on a new medicine which seems to help a little and we are hoping that it kicks in full force soon so she isn't in so much pain and so i stay sane! We stayed at Natalie's which was so fun, Cash was so sweet and always so concerned about her. Thanks for letting us come enjoy spring break with you guys.

4 weeks old!

Lucy girl is already 4 weeks old, time sure flies by! I still feel like my life is craziness and that it will never calm down but i am sure it will eventually. Lucy is getting so big and she is a strong little one, she has woken up on her tummy twice, coincidence, i hope so?! She is a pretty content and happy girl most the time with the exception of being sick. She has had RSV which has been a little scary but it never got horrible which is good. She has seen the doc a few times and we have had her at the hospital to have her suctioned out a few times which is so nice. They say it has helped keep lots of babies out of the hospital that have RSV so we're grateful for that. Luckily she is on the mend and seems tons better this week! They say the cough can linger for 2-3 weeks, ugh, but she isn't contagious anymore and i can tell she feels way better. All in all she is doing great and i love her so much, she is so much fun!

Valentines/B-day Date..

You know your getting old, i like to think of it as smart rather, when you go out on Wed when Valentines is on Monday so you don't have to deal with the crowds! This is exactly what we did this year and it was perfect. We celebrated Roman's B-day and Valentines at Happy Sumo Wed night and it was delicious. It was so good to have sushi again, while your pregnant your not suppose to eat it and it felt like forever since i had had it, yummy!! Lucy got to join us, lucky girl, she is so good and just slept in her seat the whole time, she will be invited out again. It was fun to go out with our little family and enjoy time together.

I just wanted to thanks my parents and Roman's parents for all the love and support they give us. We are living with my parents right now which is such a blessing for us and we appreciate my parents letting us live her. Among living here they do so much for Roman and i and now Lucy and i want them to know how grateful we are to them. Also to Roman's parents for the love and support they show us, they came up this last weekend to see Lucy and it was so fun to spend time with them, we can't wait for them to come back in March. Its amazing how once you have your own kids you quickly realize and understand a lot of the reasons your parents did the things they did and raised you they way they did. I appreciate the love our parents have for us and all the sacrifices they have made and continue to make for us. I hope to be as good as a parent to Lucy as mine and Roman's parents have been to us. We love you so much!

It was the most amazing feeling pulling away from the hospital with our baby girl. Roman drove so careful which was so cute, and of course i was sobbing tears of joy! Its so amazing to think of how tiny they are and that all there little parts work, it truly is a blessing! It felt so good to be home safe and sound. Before leaving the hospital and asked the nurse to give her a bath and she loved it so here are some cute pics of the bath and ride home. P.S. Have i mentioned how much i love her, words can't really explain it, being a mom is so amazing!

Lucy joined our little family Sunday Jan 30, 2011 at 3:33 pm. She weighs 7 lbs 8 oz and is 20 inches long.(the same as her daddy) Considering she was 3 weeks early she is a very healthy baby and we are so glad she arrived safely. Here are some pics of our hospital stay!

Before Lucy came

The story of Lucy's birth I feel so lucky, i really had such an easy pregnancy and delivered 3 weeks early which was a dream come true! Don't get me wrong i loved loved loved being pregnant and i do miss it already but since Christmas i have wanted her here and wanted to be done because i have had horrible horrible swelling. It was all worth it in the end i feel like I'm living a fairytale. Sunday morning around 8 am i got up to go to the bathroom, everything was normal and i got back into bed. A few minutes later i felt a gush, i turned to Roman and said sweetie i think my water just broke, that or i peed my pants. So i got up and checked things out, definitely not normal so we were talking about going to the hospital to get check but i didn't really want to i had been in the hospital 2 times the previous week for many reasons, spotting, low movement of baby, fluid level check etc. and i was terrified to go back and have them tell me it was a false alarm so i tried to ignore it. Not 5 minutes later my mom comes down to see if were up, which she never does, she asked to come in our room so i was thinking what could this be about, what happened. She continues to tell me that my little sister Lindey, who was also pregnant with a girl and due the same day as me feb 17th, was on her way to the hospital to get checked because she thought her water broke also. Ironic, i know! So after a few minutes they called and said she was having the baby c-section her water did break and her baby was breach. Corbin also text me say that my doc said to get in there to get checked as soon as we can. We ate some breakfast and got some things together and headed out to the hospital. The nurse got me checked in and my doc came in to check me, sure enough my water hadn't broke but there was a leak and it was to risky to send me home. So after our doc delivered my sisters baby he came to get things started with me. My doc broke my water at about 10 am and i started having major contractions really close together so i got an epidural at about 11 am. I was thinking with this being my first baby it would take all day but nope things moved fast. When i went in at 9 i was at a 2 or a 3 he thought by 1 i was at a 4 and by 2 i was at a 9. Things progressed quickly which made me nervous i was starting to feel the contractions so the anesthesiologist came back in and gave me another dose of medicine and i started pushing at 3. About 20 minutes of pushing and the doc was concerned about her heart rate, it was really low and he said he needed this baby here fast. Our options were to try the vacuum and then c-section. We obviously wantded to try the vacuum although he was suited up ready for a c-section if she wasn't out fast. Luckily a few more pushes and she was here. It was a little stressful but it was nothing like i had pictured it. It was amazing and 30 minutes of pushing went by so fast. Pregnancy just agrees with my body and for that i am very lucky. The umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck so she came out pretty purple and blue but she pinked up within a few minutes and started to cry so that was a relief. As the doc was stitching me up i sat in my bed looking across the room not knowing what to think. I am pretty sure every emotion went through my body and still does each day. Giving birth is the most amazing thing in the world, i would do it again tomorrow. I feel so blessed to have such a supportive husband that is and has been there for me non-stop. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world the day we got married, i thought nothing could ever top that but this definitely did. It is so amazing to look at her and know that we created her together and that she is all ours. Leaving the hospital with her was so amazing, Roman drove so carefully it was adorable. He has a special bond with her already and it melts my heart eveytime he holds her, talks to her or comes home from school he gets so happy and excited, he lights up i love it. He said the other night, we just feel so complete with Lucy and i agree. I seriously just stare at her all day long feeling so lucky, smiling, crying, laughing, etc. I love everything about motherhood and i am sure it just gets better and better. I love our baby girl so much and i am so happy to be her mom. Things went more than smooth and i would not change one thing about that day. Well i might change the fact that maybe i showed up to the hospital a little grumpy thinking i would be sent home but it makes for a great story. We are home and recovering very well, loving every moment that passes. Everyone says to try and savor this time because its gone way to fast and we have been doing just that. Thanks for all your support and love, we truly feel so blessed.

Me and my sister Lindey both due Feb 17th had our girls Jan 30th within hours of each other. They are going to be such good little buddies and i can't wait!

37 WEEKS!!!!

It's so crazy that i am due in 3 weeks, my pregnancy has gone by so fast. I have been so lucky thus far, my pregnancy has literally been a breeze! Everyone has warned me that these last few weeks are miserable, wow is that an understatement! Around Christmas I started to have such bad swelling mostly in my legs and hands but now it is pretty much my whole body. I am trying to count my blessings, 8 months of good vs 1 month of bad but i am definitely feeling ready to be done. I will miss being pregnant, i love love love feeling her move around be active but i can't wait to hold her and have her here with us. Roman has been so amazing, he rubs my hands, feet, legs and back every night after i lay on my heating pad and ice the rest of my body. All the sudden its hard to walk and get around, i waddle non stop especially by the end of the night and my body aches non stop but it will all be worth it in the end. He is so supportive and i could not ask for a better husband, thanks babe. We are so anxious to have our little girl here with us and we hope it's sooner than later that she joins our family!

A new addition to our family...

Introducing my new niece!!!! Isn't she darling, i can't wait to meet this sweet little girl. She has spent the first part of her life in an orphanage in Eastern Europe and soon she will be with her new family in Utah! My brother Kris and his wife Kecia have decided to adopt this precious little girl. She is 4 today and she has down syndrome. Kris and Kecia have a little girl, Bree, who also has down syndrome and it turning 4 next month which means they pretty much will have twins! So sweet to think they will have someone to rely on forever. I now will have 3 nieces that have down syndrome and they will all be on this journey we call life together! I feel like the luckiest aunt in the world, for they truely impact lives all over they world, you can not even imagine how sweet they are unless you have been around them. Kris and Kecia are such a great example to us of living a righteous, selfless, happy life and are and will be continue to be amazing parents to this little girl and their family. We are so excited for them and to have her in our family. They have just started the process and we are hoping it takes no longer than a few months for her to come home to her new family! My shower in Utah

My mom, sister's and sister in law's threw me a baby shower in Utah this week and it was lots of fun. The theme was definitely pink and it was so cute!! It was fun to see lots of my friends and family who came, i really appreciate it so much. I got the cutest stuff i just can't wait for Lucy to get here!

I have the best sister-in-laws and mother-in-law!!! While we were in Arizona for Christmas Roman's sister's and mom threw me a baby shower and it was darling. The decorations were amazing, the food was so yummy and the guests, although i didn't know all of them, were so generous! I received lots of cute clothes, cute books and stuffed animals etc our baby will definitely be in style! Thanks for throwing the shower for me and for everyone that came, i really appreciate it!

Christmas in Arizona

We spent Christmas in Arizona with Roman's family this year and it was tons of fun! It was definitely weird being away for Christmas and having it be 75 degrees outside was even more weird but i loved it and we had an amazing Christmas! It was so fun to take off for a few weeks and enjoy the wonderful weather, spend time with family and friends, shop, eat etc...

Bodies: The Exhibition

On our way to Arizona for Christmas we stopped in Las Vegas and went to Bodies: The Exhibition at the Luxor Hotel. It was so neat and i am glad we went, it blows my mind the way our body works. Roman loved it because he just took Anatomy and he knew what everything was, he was a great teacher. My favorite part was the fetus section. It was so neat to be able to see how fast babies develop in the womb and how big our baby is, it was very interesting. If you have the chance to go, you should!

Thomas and Jacey's going away party, which we are very sad about. (Roman is holding Emma their little girl, she is darling) Lots of trips to Mesa will difinitly be arranged, they have been such good friends and we will miss them lots!

Jason and Angie's friend christmas party which was lots of fun. We did a gift exchange and we came home with lots of different flavors of hot chocolate, Yummy!!! We also went to a Christmas party that my sister-in-law Kecia's, brother put on for families with kids who have down syndrome. It was a blast but i have no pictures from it unfortunately. I love that we have the oppertunity to be involved in these types of events!

I can't believe how fast times goes by i only have 10 weeks left, nearly 2 months. I have had such an easy pregnancy and i feel so lucky, however, i can't wait to not be pregnant. A few years ago around Thanksgiving my relief society teacher challenged us to write down 100 things we were thankful for, i remember thinking that was a lot of things and it would take forever. As i started writing mine down i realized 100 things was far from a lot considering all the things i have and am thankful for. She challenged us to keep this up the whole year and at the end of the year we would have a thankful journal to reflect on. I didn't keep it up for the whole year but i did it occasionally and it really made a huge difference in my life to look back and reflect on the things i was truly grateful for throughout the year. It helped in all situations when i read back through what i had written, some were serious things, happy things, sad things, painful things, joyful things, simple things funny things etc. I thought this was a great way to help me be a more grateful person all year long, i am taking on that challenge again and i am starting today. Although i think everyday would be ideal i am going to start with once a week and keep a journal with me at all times to jot down simple and complex things i am grateful for this year. So here is the start of my list in no particular order, with the exception of the obvious ones :)

How cute are my nieces and nephews, they had awesome costumes this year and were so excited to trick or treat! I made Roman and I's costumes this year and we think they turned out cute, for $6 and a couple hours you can't really complain! We had our traditional home made chicken noodle soup dinner with my family and then we went to a costume party at our friends Jimmy and Kira's house which was lots of fun! Our Halloween was a success for sure!

24 weeks!

I'm finally feeling legitimate movement from our little girl! The other night was the first time that Roman was able to feel the baby kick, punch, wave, knee or whatever she was doing. She is an active little one and it is so much fun to finally feel her regularly. My placenta is facial so the dr said it could take longer for me to feel her because of that but im glad its now happening its so cool. It has definitely been my favorite moment thus far! Roman was so excited and it was so cute! Its hard to explain what it feels like and i love when moments like that happen so Roman can feel her and be more apart of her too since i am with her all the time! Roman has been so supportive and amazing through my pregnancy, he has been at every dr appt with me, he gives me numerous back rubs, foot rubs and always tell me i look beautiful when i'm going throgh major growing stages and nothing fits and i feel down. He is perfect and i am so glad i married him, i love him more than words can say! I'm so glad for our decision to add a little one to our family, we can't wait to be parents!

Roman's parents were in town this weekend for a wedding and it was so good to see them, visit, shop and of course eat yummy food together. Candice, Roman's sister, had some gift cards to La Caille and she gave them to all of us to use, so sweet and selfless of her! Yesterday my sister-in-law Kecia had a down syndrome play group at her house and it was the most precious thing ever. I went with my sister Tysen to help with her kids while she was there and so i was able to be apart of it! These little kids and there parents are so lucky and i admire them so much. They are all adorable and i am so glad that i have 2 down syndrome nieces so i am able to go to things like this, they truely are Angels!

I sewed this blanket last week for our little girl, i hope she likes it! Thanks to my sister-in-law Rachel who told me where to get the vintage chenille fabric squares for the front, it turned out so cute! I backed it with some white minky fabric, its so soft and warm!

October is National Down Syndrome Awareness Month. I am lucky enough to have 2 nieces that are down syndrome and they have brought our family so much happiness and joy. They are darling and i love them so much! The 31 for 21 challenge is that for the 31 days of October you blog everyday about anything you want, all you do is include the title 31 for 21 raising awareness for everyone that see's it, the 21 stands for the extra 21st chromosome that down syndrome babies are born with. I am obviously behind on this challenge but from today on i am going to join in to do my part in raising awareness! Down Syndrome children really do have such a great impact on people all over the world, their sweet spirits, loving personalilities and happy faces melt everyone's hearts!

Roman and i celebrated our one year anniversary yesterday, i can't believe it has been that long! I am so happy and can't wait for the rest of our lives together. This last year was filled with laughter, smiles, memories, love and happiness. It has been an amazing year and i feel so lucky! To celebrate we attended my friend Kassie's wedding in the SLC Temple, which was so neat. It was fun to be able to be there a year after we had done the same thing, it was a good reminder of the promises we made each other and to see them brough back alot of the feelings i had on our wedding day. After the wedding and luncheon we meet up with some friends at a cabin to spend the night. Of course we ate our wedding cake we had saved, which was actually pretty good, played games, watched a movie and hang out, it was lots of fun! Our last year was unforgettable and i only hope the years to come bring as much joy and happiness for us. Here is a little video i made for Roman with our pics from the last year!

Who knew 1st of all i was so indecisive, 2nd of all picking a color to paint the nursery could cause so much confusion and 3rd of all there really are that many shades of the same color....It's been a guessing game to try and find the perfect color for our little girls room, were still not there but after numerous trips to the paint store i think were getting close! I can't wait to decorate, its so much fun and i am loving it! Let me know your opinions!!!

I can't believe I'm already 20 weeks, it has flown by so fast. We had our 20 week ultrasound this past week and it was so much fun to see our little girl in action. I am just starting to feel her move and it is so amazing. It's still so crazy to me that i have a baby inside me, surreal for sure! On the ultrasound you could see her sucking her thumb, her little mouth was adorable, she was moving it like she was sucking or drinking, her cute profile, and her little ankles were crossed like she was just kicked back enjoying herself, it was adorable. It definitely made all the headaches, back aches, tiredness, sore feet, swollen hands, cravings, no sleeping and my growing and changing body worth it! I can't wait until she is here!

Last Friday was my Birthday, crazy that i am 25, I feel really old!! Roman is such a sweetheart and spoiled me for sure. I worked half the day and then off to Tucano's to enjoy a yummy lunch! We then went to SLC to the Brad Paisley concert, neither of us knew a lot of his songs but it was fun to go to a concert and just hang out the two of us. Roman gave me a cute pair of Toms which i love and are super comfy and a new maternity body pillow which helps tons with sleeping at night! Thanks for being such a sweetheart and making my birthday so fun! I love my husband he is the greatest!

My friend Kira has some girls over to make Halloween crafts and they turned out so cute! It was lots of fun to spend the afternoon hanging out and making cute crafts, we definitely need to do this more often! 3 of us are pregnant were each due 3 weeks apart from each other and all having girls! I have 2 eXtremely (X because they were born with an extra #21 chromosome) darling nieces that are down syndrome and this last Saturday my family attended an event called The Buddy Walk to support them and families with down syndrome kids! It was so much fun to go see all the cute kids and cute family that have down syndrome children. The truely are so special and bring such a special spirit to anything! My nieces are so amazing and i am sure they will touch peoples hearts all around and were so lucky they have been placed in our family. The lady who started signing times did a performance before the buddy walk that was so cute. I don't know if you have heard of Signing Times (signingtime.com) it is a series of movies that a lady from Utah started. She has a deaf child and also a child that is severly handicap that she was told would never communitcate in any way. Her sister and her got together to start a show for those who wanted to use ASL to communicate. They became very popular and now there are tons of them. They are darling shows, i for sure want to get them for our kids to watch and learn from. Her daughter that she was told would never communicate does now through ASL and is such a darling little girl. What a blessing these tv shows have brought to let those communcate that dont through speach. All in all it was a blast! We love you Bree and Lyla!

Family Vacation's are amazing!

We were in Ventura, California for a week on a family vacation with the Madsen's and it was so fun! We were all told that for Christmas last year our gift was a trip to the beach house, it was such a great gift and were so grateful for the time we had to spend with everyone! Thanks for the fun week Sydney and Bryan!! the weather was amazing the beach house was so much fun the food was delicious the company was the best the shopping was of course great falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean was ideal laying out all day was a dream playing in the sand was amazing yogurtland was yummy watching movies is always entertaining walks on he beach were heavenly roman loved the surfing dolphin and seal sightings were cool reading books of course mocking jay Santa Barbara is the cutest ever thrifty ice cream doughnuts every morning Pretty much it was amazing there is no other way to describe it!

We are so excited for our little princess to join our family in February! It was so neat to see her moving all around on the screen, she is an active baby. I haven't felt her move yet but when i do i am in for a treat because it doesn't seem like she ever stops! We feel so lucky to become parents and can't wait to have her here with us!

P.S. My sister Lindey is also pregnant and just found out she is having a girl yesterday, we are due the same day and it will be so much fun for these little chickys to have a cousin there same age, literally! They are sure to be best buddies! There are lots of girl cousins that will be so close in age, Mia and Lyla will not even be a year old when our babies are due, it will be so fun! As for Samson...pour little guy the only boy with all these new little girl cousins, i'm sure he will have lots of fun teasing them!

We were able to be in Arizona with Roman's family for a week to attend his Grandpa Rays funeral. It was definitely bitter sweet but we are so glad we were able to be there with family and pay tribute to such an amazing man! Here are some pics from our trip...highlights were seeing all the realtives, going to the cabin in Pine, going to the lake with friends, shopping with sisters, eating yummy food and just being silly. We loved our time there.

I'M PREGNANT!!! We are so excited and can hardly wait to be parents, i am due February 17th and it can't come soon enough! I have always wanted to be a mom and i know Roman will be an amazing dad. We feel so lucky to have this opportunity and couldn't be more happy.
